A letter published in the Baltimore City paper:

Once again Scott Loughrey has gone off (The Mail, 12/9), and in the name of all that is right-minded and sane I’m going to keep this succinct (unlike the petty ramblings of Loughrey’s Web site). It seems to me the root of Loughery’s moaning is that people in the world have differing opinions—an incredible notion, I know. Contrary to what he says, the keystone to Loughrey’s argument is that his film was not accepted by MicroCineFest and he has decided to strike out in the only way he knows how: irrational, illogical, brain-damaged bitching. If he thinks that his “disclosure” fooled anybody, or gave him blanket absolution for his wildly wrongheaded notions, he is sadly mistaken; I dare anyone to go to his Web site and not see him for the poor, bitter, deluded fool that he is. If Loughrey aspires to be an artist, he will have to learn that not everyone on the planet will love your efforts and move on, instead of wetting himself and crying all the way home.
