I agree Gus: I meant the title as not just a rhetorical question. In the last year or so, I've come to believe that some of the so-called 'perversions' of Democracy such as money in elections and the two-party system are actually products of democracy, totally legal products that really rob voters of any meaning in elections. In that way, I hold democracy as a question.
