With the ruling by the Scottish Review Court of the Lockerbie evidence, the revelation by Victor Ostrovsky an ex Mossad agent that Israel framed Libya in the obviously stitched up La Belle Disco bombing trial, the time has come to examine the whole pattern of Israel's reactions to pretexts. More recently the reaction to Hezbollah's cross border provocation is a case in point.
In fact Israel appears to have perfected the art of reactting to pretexts or as in the case of the Liberty actually setting them up. One has to seriously look whether Israel was involved in the Hariri assasination.
