I stand by my assertion about disease. It would've been impossible for Europeans to conquer North, Central, and South America if Natives had been immune to European diseases. At the time that America was conquered, Europeans didn't even know what a germ was, nevermind any principals of biological warfare!! Both Natives and Europeans believed that diseases were caused by magic and that diseaes expressed the will of god/the gods.
