The Bring Back Marc Steiner Movement is calling for a public demonstration outside WYPR on April 2nd, starting at 5 p.m., to ring in WYPR’s fundraising drive.

The group is asking people not to donate to WYPR until WYPR’s resolves this by 1) bringing back radio host Marc Steiner to WYPR with influence, and 2) making WYPR more responsive to the community. The group’s Web site is at www.savesteinershow.com.

During WYPR’s fund drive, there will be continuous protests outside WYPR on the 2200 block of North Charles St. in Baltimore from noon to 1 PM and also from 5 PM to 6 PM. The fund drive goes from April 2nd through 8th.
