I think "old man" is wrong about the DC IMC coverage being negative towards the demonstrations. A DC indymedia volunteer quickly posted two positive articles (one on the feeder march and one on the main ANSWER event) too the site. Both were interesting, positive, and factual. Later, a feature piece was put together using a nice summary and links to numerous photos and positive articles. They also pointed out the poor coverage in the mainstream media.

The negative stuff on their site does not seem to be the work of the IMC volunteers but of various visitors to the site. Part of the concept of indymedia is that visitors can freely share their news and thoughts. It's not DC IMC's fault that some of their visitors post critical analyses of the demonstrations.
