One of the most insidious things about the Bush-Cheney energy bill is that it keeps changing form, while not really changing in its basic intent and essence at all. A few "concessions" here, a few lines added there. But the bottom line has not changed form the original bill.
The vote is now projected to be on November 21. The Bush camp, I am sure, imagines that the highly controversial trip to the UK will divert all attention away from the issue. This makes it imperative for citizens to get the message to Congress loud and clear: WE ARE WATCHING YOU!!
