Aren't we fortunate to have such a courageous man as Michael Berg to speak out! I was in Ireland when the news of the Abu Graibh prison scandals and Nick's beheading broke - their distress was so great! Those of us active in the peace movement were already aware of the abuses - but just couldn't get heard. Thanks to IMC Baltimore for this release. Please relay deepest sympathies to the Berg's - I can't even begin to know the depth of their sorrow.
One further note: didn't we have our own beheading with the death-by-draging of a black man in Jasper, Texas? This story has been fowarded to hundreds in our Kansas peace movement.
