Tom DeLay of TEXAS


Dear Rep. Doolittle,

I feel it’s important to communicate directly with those representatives from outside my home state, like yourself, who comment in the national media across this nation and outside of your area of representation, (California), to comment on TEXAS and our desire to remove Rep. Tom DeLay of my state of Texas. Your comments regarding Texas does not afford Texans who oppose you to have the same access outside of their state to
Make it clear to you in the same national forum that what you are defending in Tom DeLay, we in Texas do NOT support.

Therefore, this Texas resident will address my sentiments to those who Congressmen, OUTSIDE my home state, (such as yourself), that have made the following comments:

A DeLay ally, Rep. John T. Doolittle (R-Calif.), said Republicans 'are going to have to respond in kind... From now on, it's a matter of 'you kill my dog, I'll kill your cat.' " Doolittle said he plans to file ethics charges against a prominent Democrat."

I am from Texas. I think Tom DeLay should be prosecuted.
Your threat against Democrats to, “respond in kind” is duly noted. Texas residents feel our decision to push for the immediate prosecution of Tom DeLay should not be hindered by any childish Republican partisan games from California that affect and harm the people of Texas.
Your threats are a reckless disregard for the people in any state of this union and the trivialization of crimes committed by Tom DeLay. I expect a full investigation of Tom DeLay and a subsequent prosecution of him and a one-way ticket to a federal prison!
(Threats from Republicans against Democrats not withstanding.)
