Israel told him not to talk to the press, and he did. Now, can Israel let him get away with ignoring their rules? He's lucky they didn't bulldoze his house, and that of all of his first cousins. But, no, I don't think it's cuz he's converted to christianity. Now, if he had converted to Islam, that would be another matter.
