Great web page ! Unfortunately America is too preoccupied with American Idol and Survivors to pay much attention. Opinionists like Limbauh and O'Riley are substituted for hard cold facts. Maybe the Terry Shaivo story will open a few minds. Tom Delays' comparison of his own situation to that of Terry Shaivo is pathetic. I can only see it as a call to arms for all his core supporters in his hopefully upcomming legal flogging. His suggestions that numerous judges need to be held accountable for their decisions in the Terry Shaivo case is an attack on democracy. The separation of powers is written in stone. When politicans dictate to the courts, democracy is NO MORE. The constitution is more important than any one induvidual, including Tom Delay or George Bush for that matter. Americans can be distracted and misled for a while, but not forever. Sooner or later truth has a way of making itself known. Let's hope the truth about Tom isn't something Americans find out about on the History Channel 30 years from now.
