If you don't like what Mayor Williams is doing to this city, especially in relation to DC General and all the other manifestations of "gentrification" (the polite term for a savage war against the poor), then why not recall him? We can recall him out of office by our petition signatures. The way I see it, whether or not we are successful in the recall, the more the signatures, the stronger the message, to Mayor Williams and the other gentrifiers, that in the end they are still accountable to the as-yet ungentrified voters. Don't let yourself and your neighbors be gentrified out of Washington, DC, while you still have a chance!
