You can’t start a story building on lies and hoping the enduring quality of the words will be as lasting as a Neidhart quote. President Bush attempted to do this same thing and was caught. There are no weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. The point being, no matter how many times you say it, it won’t change the facts.

I would like to state that it was never Fact that Leonard Peltier had anything to do with the killing of the two FBI agents trespassing in Pine Ridge, an indigenous sovereign nation. (Why was the FBI even there?)
There is no proof of any wrong doing by Leonard Peltier. Yes, he has been in jail for 30 years, but the only thing he has been guilty of so far is being Innocent and being Indian. The fact IS in America, if you are not liked, or even hated by those in power, you can go to jail or worse, despite being perfectly innocent.

Others have been tried for the same offense that Leonard Peltier is doing Prison Time for. Did you know that every person at Pine Ridge tried on these same charges was found to be innocent by means of self defense? They were defending themselves. They were being attacked while cooking a pancake breakfast.

The fact is that the whole judicial process, in this case, is a joke from the start. It is a fact the only reason he is still in prison is no one has the eggs to go against the scary FBI guys. A man’s life is at stake here.

The “killer” (as noted in the headline) might be looked upon differently, or in a different light. You are correct in saying that Joe Stuntz was murdered by the FBI. The FBI had no jurisdiction in Pine Ridge. They had no cause to open fire, so they created misinformation. Yes, like the Downing Street memos which prove that G. W. Bush, in secret meetings, made up the “facts”, and created the stories that took us to war.

On the Pine Ridge Reservation, the FBI made up evidence to fit the crime and the whole sickening thing is that everyone- including the FBI- knows it. They just want someone to pay the price for the indigenous people expressing themselves. They wanted and continue to want an Indian to pay the price. That's just bad dirt. Thousands of pages of FBI files remain inaccessible to the Peltier legal team 30 years later. If these documents didn’t prove his innocence, why is the FBI still withholding this information?

When the story comes out pertaining to the “Plot Against Wilson”, there we will find the real dirt in the White House, Carl Rove, and his attack against America. Then we will know about bad dirt. This is the government who holds Leonard Peltier prisoner for crimes unproven.

The fact IS Leonard Peltier has been abused in prison. The fact IS Leonard Peltier endures this and for what? The question is not the definition of the word “is”, but the definition of human compassion and truth. The fact IS Leonard’s health is poor, his legal rights are a farce, and he is restricted from practicing his religion. His basic human rights have been abused and denied.

In every country, even where the freedom of the individual is not a God given right, they are laughing at our judicial hypocrisy. The fact is the freedom of the press is alive and well in many other countries. I’m sorry that freedom of the press in these United States is over for now. When the press has been put in jail for protecting their sources, we lose our freedom of the press. As it is, we may never again be free to write our words, or think our own thoughts, without Big Brother listening in and making up stories. Who will they be about next?
