Hello!!

Summer is going by fast, fast, fast!!

Sorry I didn’t send out an email last week. Wasn’t much going on, just our normal Saturday donation time. We are going to start doing set-ups every other week now. The amount of items we are getting donated is getting ahead of us. We have two garages filled to the roof! We have a van now and a pick up truck so set-ups will be easier to do. Please help out at the set ups as they can be quite labor intensive. We will burn out fast if we don’t have a lot of help from the likes of you all.

We are looking for people who would like to become more involved in the organization. By this we mean people who would like to become a part of shaping the future and taking on some responsibilities such as: Volunteer Coordinator, Donations Coordinator, Public Outreach, Financial Developer, Development and Design, and so on. Please get in touch with us if you are interested in being more than the occasional volunteer.

This week I will tell you about:

The Village Co-Op

Located at 2429 St. Paul Street, adjacent to the Yabba Pot – a vegan café offering up delicious treats, the Village Co-Op provides locally grown organic vegetables, teas, and other assorted groceries for sale. For more information check out their website. Become a member, do some shopping - Live Locally, Buy Locally!!
