Some Released, Some Still Held, Many Outside Demanding Release.
A number of people have been released, a number are still inside, and many others are outside raising hell.
According to reports, a number of detainees have been released on the own recog. A few of them were from Baltimore, and the others released have not been confirmed yet as to their hometowns. Also according to the reports, ARA lawyer Larry Hildes has also been released.
Quite a few others are still being held. No definate number yet, but it is at least 6, most likely more. The confirmed detainees include one from Toronto and two from Claustrophobia (Balto), One from Food Not Bombs (Balto), two involved with Black Planet (Balto), and one from New Jersey ARA. According to the New Jersey contact, she's doing pretty shitty and although a number had been released, there were more that are meeting with the comish now.
The bails range from $5.000 for the Toronto detainee (who is concerned, but not worried with deportation.), $10.000 for most of the Baltimoreans, and the highest set at $12.500 for Than from Claustrophobia.
After talking to the boyfriend of one of the Black Planet members, he informed me she is being charged with 7 counts. They range from disturbing the peace to assault with a deadly weapon; facing 35 years.
There is jail solidarity going on right now in front of Central Booking. For those who cannot make it, call the police at 410.396.2525 and demand for the anti-racists to be released. For those interested in joining the support, follow these directions:
From the south:
Take 95 north, and take the exit for 395 toward Baltimore. Take the exit for Downtown/Inner Harbor.
At the stadiums, make a right on Conway St.
Make a left on Light St. and then follow the right fork onto Pratt St.
Follow pratt accoss the Inner Harbor, and make a left on President St.
Make your way to the far right lane. When President starts to become the Jones Falls Expressway/I-83 at Fayette St., stay in the far right lane and exit onto Fallsway.
Follow that right on Madison, the jail right near there.
It's a big ugly building, you can't miss it.
From the north:
Take 695 to 83 south.
Follow 83 to exit one, Pleasant St. This is a left exit, and at the end of the exit, make a left turn.
At the first light, turn left. This is Fallsway, and the jail will be ahead on the right.

On What Grounds
release of these "anti-racists"?! Is it because their social
values and beliefs exempt them from having to obey the laws
of the country and state?
If they were charged the police likely had very good reason
for doing so. To let them off sends a message that acts of
violence are lawful provided one has what mainstream society
considers a valid cause for righteous indignance.
If the "Nazis" wre not charged there is could be only one
reason for it and that is that no one could find any
legitimate reason to do so. Make examples of these so called
"anti-racist" imbiciles and lock them up for a good long
time!

I do not believe that physically fighting a group of people who are already trying to be all about machismo is the smartest tactic. I also believe it can create Nazi sympathy. But I haven't come up with anything better, and I fully respect people who put themselves on the line, and took great risks for what they believe to be right. I stand with them in solidarity, I am demanding they all be released, and I will continue to do so because thats what building a movement is about. Talking and thinking about whether it was a good or bad idea, or idealogically right is important: BUT NOT NOW. Now, we need to stand with our comrads who are in great danger, and could have the rest of their lives ruined. They do not deserve that. Whether you feel that one tactic or another is better, do you really believe that anti racists and activists should be locked away? Of course not! So lets pull our resources together as best we can and do the best legal support we can for these folks.

Also, to anyone sketched out or talking shit about us, none of us who were arrested had anything to do with any of the charges we were accused of. (Except maybe the part about "conspiring against the health and dignity of the State" - but that kind of seems like it would be beating a dead horse, seeing how dignified and healthy the system looked from the inside.) I have no doubt we can beat all of these charges, but its probably going to be a long trial that will be heavily politicized and we'll definitely need legal funds.
A final note to everyone who took charge of things this weekend -- yall fucking rule! We were starting to feel down because we thought everyone had been picked up just like us before ever doing anything, but its good to hear that the protest in DC was successful and that the nazis were made to feel unwelcome everywhere they went. How many capable leaders do we have at this point? It seems like everyone handled their business perfectly. And the fact that we could raise almost $30,000 in bail money in a day's time is unbelievable.

lock up right now likely wouldn't have been there at all if

time they'll behave like adults or stay home and watch the

The group of citizens that met in Washington to protest were
obviously better prepared for what was in store. This likely
comes from researching the situation and, as a result,
having a firmer grip on reality than the trouble makers who
showed up to suppress their right to free speech. These
protestors have been labeled as Nazis and I'm certain if the
media thought the people would buy it they'd be claiming
the reincarnation of Hitler and the antichrist both were
carrying placards screaming anti-Zionist obscenities. Some
of these people may well consider themselves Nazis but the
fact is most of them are just ordinary people who are
outraged with having their taxes used to commit genocide
against a people who have already been dispossessed and
harassed off their land.
More and more people worldwide are waking up to the
realities of Israeli terrorism. As long as these people's
leaders are smart enough to not let the media spin matters
in irrelevant directions those numbers will grow
proportionately to the greed of Israeli leaders.
