Dear Michael Moore,

BETRAYED BY ONE OF OUR OWN

Dear Michael Moore,

With all the political caterwauling that You have done in the last few years
it is NO WONDER that voters came out in DROVES to vote for bush
But we must recognize that Mr. Moore has droned on and on on and on on and on on and on on and on, until even the liberal democrats where driven to vote democrats out of office. the voter backlash from anything associated with the democratic party was purely astounding. As demonstrated by this election. and I am sure that your obsessive droning is one of the major factors in the exodus of voters from OUR cause. Mr. Moore we may never know the damage you have done. but rest assured WE WILL NOT FORGET what you have done to this election and to the DNC

In “17 Reasons Not to Slit Your Wrists...” you write jokes and, trying to cheer the anti war people up, make fun of the moment. I could understand your point of view so) . But now, keep joking and making fun of us is – in my judgment – completely useless and, frankly, immoral. you are an evil person who enjoys seeing the suffering of others.

Re: Dear Michael Moore,

diddo! more is a rushie that put one over on us!

Are you and the commentors for real?

Am I supposed to believe you're fighting against corporate exploitation and for a world of less exploitation? Or are you actually Rush supporters?

Look, I've read Kropotkin, and understand the rationales and dynamics of anarchism. I support the ideal, unfortunately, I also have a sense of history.

In the late 1800s we had an agrarian revolt in this country. The farmers organized, creating cooperatives, and there were a hell of a lot of farmers back then, meaning a hell of a lot of people were part of that populist movement. At one point, they had 40,000 people working a speaker's circuit. Their leadership was generally "radical," denouncing corporate power and advocating deep institutional changes.

Despite that increadible level of deep and wide organization, that movement fell apart. We're nowhere near that level of organization, and you find the time to put down Michael Moore? I'm sure Rush Limbaugh would cackle if he read this web posting. Newt Gingrich would say, "They're self-destructiong on the left, just as I predicted." Ann Coulter would say, "Hey look over there on the left. They're eating their own."

Today, the right wing has taken over the country, both the institutions and the way a great number of people think. Our radical movement doesn't come close to matching that of the agrarian revolt. I'm all for street protests, but if you think that's gonna bring about revolution, you're sadly mistaken.

If the government collapsed today, it wouldn't be due to street protests. It would be due to an economic collapse. And then what? Pandafuckingmonium, becase the left is so disorganized.

We're in more trouble than I thought.
